What: Discover a one-of-a-kind blend of art, science, and outdoor exploration at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. The Eagle Bluff Fungi Hunt transforms trails into a playful scavenger hunt—featuring hand-crocheted mushrooms inspired by native Minnesota fungi. Along a 0.75-mile trail loop, find dozens of fiber-crafted fungi paired with interpretive signage that highlights the role of fungi in Minnesota’s ecosystems.
The Eagle Bluff Fungi Hunt was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
